Carl Phelps was interviewed on the Getting 2 Know U Podcast
Carl Phelps is running for District 14 House Representative. He joined the Marine Corps after high school during the Vietnam era. Upon discharge, he attended college and then joined the Army becoming an officer and a helicopter pilot, finishing his career with Army Special Forces. After retiring, he took a job with the VA where he spent the last 20 years securing best policies and practices for beloved veterans. He is very active in this community serving as a volunteer fireman for Lewes since 2015. He also umpires youth softball and referees DE high school football.
Carl Phelps has served his country and community and will not sit back and watch either collapse under failed Democratic policies or let them harm Sussex County. I am appalled by the one-party rule. There are no checks and balances, and our businesses are suffering.
Mr. Phelps’s campaign agenda includes a strong economy, supporting businesses that provide essential goods and services with fair tax policies, implementing sensible energy policies, keeping towns and unincorporated areas livable and safe, and ensuring schools prepare our children for real careers. Carl is committed to keeping Sussex County moving forward with conservative values that work for everyone.
